Christmas

Tue Dec 15, 2009, 2:48 AM
Hasn't time gone quick, it only feels like it was Halloween a couple of weeks ago, not 7 weeks. Blimey! Anyhoo I should be putting some new pieces of work on here after Christmas, haven't had the time lately due to work, and well the festive season in general. Managed to get all my gifts for people in one day, all tho I still need to get 1 present for my younger Sister Laura. Was thinking a camera for her as she hasn't got one and always has to rely on either me or her best friend. So I know she'll appreciate it! :) if that fails I know she's a massive Twilight fan! So can't go wrong there.

Got another company Christmas Party in Manchester 2moro evening, whoo! Gonna get glammed up and will be singing in my head that theme tune "Here Come the Girls" lol! I'm on Camera duty again, as one of the girlies that I work with can not go due to family commitments, so I shall be taking lots to see what she missed out on! Must take some pics of me this time, I'm always behind the camera and never in front.

:holly: Anyhoo hope everybody had a lovely and wonderful Christmas & New Year, and I shall return in the New Year! :holly:

The other issue for today's journal is this! I appreciate DeviantArt Watchers watching this gallery, but please can you try not to be so greedy and faving every single piece of artwork I have created on this page. I'm really glad that you all do like my artwork, and I am grateful. But please don't fav all my artworks, as in the past people have done that, and have actually nicked the credit and made out that they were the ones that had created the pieces and not I. And that really peeves me off! I'm just being cautious, but please try not to fav so much, just one or 2 pieces from time to time! Cheers!

Memorabilia & Important Stuff!

Mon Nov 23, 2009, 2:56 AM
Morning Peeps! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend! :) :)

Ended up going to Memorabilia down in Birmingham on Saturday! saw lots of lovely things and people! Ended up getting a few pics of Jason Mewes during his talk, talking about his acting career and other explicent things. Also saw a load of people from sci-fi tv shows, like Lost, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, Bond films, Demons etc etc. wasn't a bad show, but to be honest I prefer the turn out for the London Expo Cons. There's more people dressed up in cosplay and more stuff going on. I felt this con wasn't that impressive. But that's just me!

Saw :iconthedreamwolf: and her comic artist desk, and had a little chat. I know I should of put something to the charity, but I didn't! hang my head in shame! :( So I apologise! I would of done usually! :)

Ended up buying 2 animation cels, I know I must resist, but they were cheap as chips! Was tempted with an Star Wars Ewok Animation Cel, but I've got a few of those at home already! So I ended up being very girly and buying 2 orginal Care Bear Cels! :aww:

Sunday finally got around to Watching the lovely Twilight Saga: New Moon! Defintley a lot more new characters (even tho secretly I know what's going to happen in all the films, as I've read all the books). But I'm not going to ruin it for the people who haven't seen the film or films yet! But defintley a thumbs up!

Alien vs Predator vs Lego Rockband!

Tue Nov 3, 2009, 6:30 AM
Hope everybody had a really great Halloween! Mine was great! Bring on Guy Fawkes! =P Anyhoo! Hopefully I shall be posting up some more artwork soon, just been practicing a few characters for the new game I'm working on. Not sure if they're what they're looking for, but hey. I can only give it ago! :)

Off to the NEC in Birmingham (UK) at the end of the month for Memorabilia. Haven't been to that before, but what I've heard it's quite cool. Hopefully the game I've worked on for the past year "Lego Rockband" will have a kiosk! I wonder if they'll be any more Aliens vs Predator vs Lego Rockband! Lol!

If you haven't a clue what I'm going on about, please check this out if you've got some spare time. It's quite funny. =P

But due to technically being at work, I should leave it be for now, and start re-doing the work I got this distracted from in the 1st place! =P

Halloween Panic Stations

Mon Oct 26, 2009, 2:56 AM
Aaargh I'm really stressed out & slightly depressed too. We were told a week a go that the studio is going to have a wrap party to celebrate the end game projects, Lego Indy 2 & Lego Rockband and it falls the same time of Halloween, Well the day before, but that still counts, lol! Anyhoo I thought okay I can find something in 2 weeks, no problems. Wanted to originally go as Harley Quinn, but me being a woman with curves and the costume only going up to a size 12 (UK) Size 8(USA) it was out of the question. So then I thought Alice in Wonderland. I ordered and brought a costume that I thought was okay, but when I receieved it was more like a top. The skirt bit, only just covers my bum. I brought Black leggings to see if that was the solution, but that didn't help either. :crying: And the website I ordered it from doesn't take back refunds, which sucks as now I don't have much money left to go and buy a brand new one, so have got to think cheap! I did think of going as Red Riding Hood, but with a twist and go as her and the wolf intwined. I have wolf-like cat ears, and monster feet that are slippers, a tail can be easy to make as it's just a bit of furry material. But the actual costume is proving to be a nightmare. I've looked everywhere, and the actual fancy dress costumes I find are way too short. Why do they always have to make women's costumes look slutty all the time. It's okay if you're petite and small or have the slender like figure, but if you're on the large kind of curvy size it's impossible to find a costume that fits for you! =(
